The MAGnificent Lamp is ideal for all types of detailed work. This lamp is cleverly designed to be used in 3 different height positions to suit your working environment. The Daylight LED’s provide high contrast and accurate colour matching, making it easier and less tiring to read, work and see detail clearly. LED’s never need replacing and use very little energy. The large 14.6cm /5¾" semi-rimless 1.75X magnifying lens allows close-work activity.

As other reviews I have had the same problem. Such a shame as I ordered two, one for me, one for my mother. We have both had the same problem and with spare parts delivered it has happened again. Very disappointed, but it isn't sew and so's fault.

You expect quality from Daylight, but unfortunately this one missed the mark. I used this as a floor lamp and it collapsed after one week of use, one of the plastic threading connectors shattered. I got it replaced at the shop as Daylight doesn't replace these parts separately. I used it again this past two weeks and the other two plastic connector parts shattered just like before. Total waste of money. Nice light from the LEDs though and a good price, such a shame.

The light emitted is brilliant and makes sewing in the evening a doddle. Unfortunately I can't give the product 5 stars as it has a serious design flaw. The uprights screw into the very heavy base but the thread is made of a type of rigid plastic which breaks after a few months, unless you either never move the lamp. A great shame, I bought mine from a shop and the one on display was broken in this way. They ordered me another, saying that must be a faulty batch, but mine collapsed while I was out of the house! I can't find another with such good light but sadly the stand for this one needs to be redesigned.
