Dynamic Yield
Dynamic Yield is a technology that allows us to personalise some elements of the SewandSo website based on the pages you have visited, how often you visit the website and how you interact with the website. It helps us make the website experience better for you.

F+W Media Inc
F+W Media Inc is the parent company of F&W Media International, the owners of SewandSo.co.uk. F+W Media Inc systems are used to analyse customer data and make selections of data for targeted email marketing. For example, these systems might identify which customers have purchased from our knitting range so that we can send those customers a promotion about knitting product. Although the transfer of data is intra-group, we have an agreement in place with our parent company to ensure that the treatment of data in the US is compliant with our local laws.

Janome Sewing Machines
Janome Sewing Machines from time to time ship sewing machines directly to customers that have ordered a machine from SewandSo.

Marketing Source Ltd
Marketing Source is a data services company that from time to time performs analysis of SewandSo customers to help us understand our customers better and improve our service. This might include demographic information, location, number of orders, size of orders, types of orders etc.

Paypal is a third part payment provider that customers can choose to use on the SewandSo website.

Pepper Communications
Pepper communications are a print and direct mail company that handle SewandSo direct mail.

Pure360 provide the software that operates SewandSo email marketing. Pure360 also provide notifications when a purchase transaction is abandoned.

Royal Mail
Royal Mail provide courier delivery services for SewandSo.

Sanderson provide the software and business system that operates the SewandSo website, warehouse and customer service operation.

Snowlake are an EU based organisation who provide data storage facilities on our behalf. The data they typically will hold is any data you give to us on our website and we use their services to facilitate marketing activities.

Verifone is the payment gateway that processes customer debit and credit card payments made on the SewandSo website.

We will disclose your personal data to third parties in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.

Alternatively, we will disclose your personal data to third parties where we are under a duty to disclose in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use or terms and conditions of supply of services and other agreements; or to protect the rights or property, our customers, or the safety of people. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Where we store your personal data and for how long

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored in the US and within the European Economic Area ("EEA"). By providing us with your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing and/or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
