Hotel Giotto Assisi Set in the medieval quarter of Assisi, the 4-star Hotel Giotto is a short stroll from St Francis Basilica and other landmark monuments of this charming town. The hotel boasts one of Assisi's best restaurants, an excellent wine cellar and vast covered terraces - perfect to relax and stitch.
Enjoy a visit to the Accademia Punto Assisi where you'll see examples of local embroidery and have the chance to try your hand at the traditional Punto Madama Caterina technique. You'll also have a guided walking tour, a visit to Basilica of Saint Francis and an excursion to Perugia.
Jane Greenoff is a well-known cross stitch designer, a prolific author and founder of the Cross Stitch Guild. She is the author of twenty three books including The Cross Stitcher’s Bible, which was translated into ten languages including Chinese and Russian. In January 2017 Jane stepped down as Managing Director for the guild but continues as their Design Director.
