Stitcher's Guide to Britain
Designed by Susan Ryder, these guides are produced to satisfy the growing number of cross stitchers who are looking for more detailed, interesting and challenging work.
The small designs in this book are very realistic and extremely satisfying to work. The stitching is detailed with half stitches and outlining stitches. A few require quarter stitches. Once you have mastered these stitches (and they are not difficult!) you will find it a joy to work them. A description of how to work half, quarter and outline stitches are included in each book.
Each design is a picture in its own right, but you may wish to put all, or some together to make a large picture or bellpull. There is also information about each building or landmark- if you have not visited them, you may be tempted to do so when you start stitching.
