  2. I’m worried about Internet security, is it safe to buy from you online?

    All of us at SewandSo believe that your security online is our top priority. We comply with all the latest security legislation and can guarantee that all online purchases are secure.

    • We never store any credit or debit card details.
    • Our checkout uses top-level SSL data encryption technology from nsProtectTM Extended Validation providing highest level data encryption up to 256-bits.
    • We are certified by McAfee SECURE who regularly test and certify SewandSo to be free of malware, viruses, phishing attacks, and other things that can harm you and your computer.  McAfee SECURE provide a free Chrome extension to ensure added protection.
    • To give you even more confidence in shopping online with us, we have introduced Verified by Visa and Mastercard® SecureCode™. These services enhance your existing card account against unauthorised use when you shop with us.
    • Whenever you are sharing any of your sensitive information online, at SewandSo or elsewhere, you should check the page is secure: on secure pages, you will see a small locked padlock and 'https' replacing the 'http' in your browser address bar (at the very top of the window).  With our Extended Validation your address browser bar will turn green indicating that your browser connection is secure.

  4. I have an offer code, how do I use it?

    Shop as usual on the website and then proceed to your basket. Add your code to the Promo Code box and hit Submit. After entering in the code, your order value will be automatically updated with the offer. If you are still having problems, you may want to check the offer is still valid. Offers do have terms and conditions and may run for specific times or be for specific products. If you have checked this and are still having issues then please get in touch with us.

  6. When will my order be dispatched?

    Providing the goods ordered are in stock, we will dispatch your order within one working day. Where part of your order is out of stock, we will dispatch the items which are in stock within one working day, and send the remains to you as soon as they come back into stock. When this occurs, you will not be charged any extra for multiple shipments.

    NOTE: Direct from supplier items are not available for not next day delivery. These items will normally be delivered in two to five days.

  7. I would like to order for a friend and get it sent to their address. How do I do this?

    This is no problem. Within your My Account page you can click on My Address Book and add as many alternative addresses as you wish. You can arrange for items to be delivered to any address you wish. Alternatively, you can enter an alternative address in the checkout process.

  8. How can I change or cancel my order?

    To ensure the fastest possible delivery to you, we process all orders as soon as possible and often within a few minutes of the order being placed. Therefore, to cancel or change an order, please contact us as soon as possible by phone or email. We will do our best to make the changes you require but if the order has already been dispatched, you will need to follow our returns procedure. Click here for more information about returns.

  9. What do I do if I am not happy with an item I have purchased?

  10. How will you let me know that my order has been processed?

    Once your order has been processed we will send you a confirmation email to your registered email address (this will come from sales@sewandso.co.uk). It will hold your individual order code that you can quote to us if your need to discuss your order.

  11. How will my order be shipped?

    We use various shipping methods, depending on your location, the weight of the goods ordered and what delivery method you choose during the checkout procedure. If you are in the UK, and do not need a guaranteed delivery time, then the best option is often Royal Mail. This is the most inexpensive delivery method for parcels and in many cases we find that the parcels arrive the next day.

    NOTE: Direct from supplier items are not available for next day delivery. These items will normally be delivered in two to five days.

  12. Can I track my order?

    Yes, please login and click on Your Account. Click on the order you would like to track and you will find a real-time updated order status and tracking information.

  13. I live abroad and would love to order a product – will you post to me?

    If you are happy to pay for the postage charge, then we are happy to post it to you. We deliver to over 75 countries worldwide. There will be an additional postage charge for all overseas and non-mainland UK orders which will be calculated when you place your order.

    For BFPO addresses, please select "BFPO" as your country. This will ensure the postage is charged at the special BFPO rate. For Channel Islands: Please select "Channel Islands" as your country. This will ensure the postage charged at "1st Class Post" rates. For questions on VAT for either of these services please contact Customer Services.

  14. I don't live in the UK and would love to order a product – can I choose my currency?

    Yes you can! We offer the option to purchase in AUD Australian Dollar, EUR Euros, GBP British Pound Sterling or USD US Dollar.
    Please be aware that your choice of currency will be set as your account default with the choice of currency used for your first purchase. Should you wish to use another currency in the future, you will need to create another account and your previous purchase history will not be available on this account.

  16. Is there limited stock available?

    We only hold a certain amount of stock in our warehouse. We try to order in enough for our customers, but sometimes we get it wrong. You will be able to see on the product page whether it is "Awaiting Stock" or "In Stock". If the product you order is awaiting stock, we will get it to you as soon as we can get it from our supplier. It is worth placing an order for a product, as we will ensure that we order in the product especially for you.

  17. Can you special order something for me?

    Yes, we deal with over 60 manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers world-wide and are very happy to special order items which we do not currently stock. Please contact us with the details of the item(s) you wish to order and we will reply with availability, price and expected delivery lead time.
