Beautifully crafted limited edition solid wooden storage box from DMC.

With a hinged lid covering a large compartment and five drawers with removeable dividers, this box can store a huge range of threads, accessories and works in progress.

The high quality of manufacture, unique design with antiqued brass handles and the inset DMC logo, this Limited Edition storage box is an heirloom of the future and the perfect gift for the expert stitcher.

Please note that the drawers are not deep enough to hold floss bobbins.

 What a beautiful item. You cannot fault the quality of the wood. The colour is not too light or dark so will go with most colour schemes. I am happy to have this in my lounge. The dividers in the drawers can be removed so if you want to change the layout it is easily done. If you are looking for something more than just plastic boxes to store your threads in then this is perfect. Lastly it came so well packaged and quick delivery too.

 I have looked for years for a storage system for my floss skeins that I am happy with, having tried a variety of things. And I have to say I have found it in this. It really pays to have something custom made for the job, I am chuffed that my husband talked me into treating myself. I'm a sucker for wooden boxes anyway and this is a lovely example. Lovely colour, nice and solid, and looks great in situ.

 My husband bought me these drawers for Christmas and they are an absolute joy to have in our living room. Not only do they look very stylish, they are extremely practical. There are five drawers with removable dividers which give plenty of room to store all my bobbinated floss, spare skeins, variegated and metallic threads. There is also room on the very top where I store spare needles, Thread Heaven, spare bobbins and other bits and bobs. Now I have all my DMC next to me in a beautiful chest rather than in plastic boxes upstairs out of the way. One little detail though, the lid on my chest is not self supporting as shown in the picture above, I need to prop it up against the wall behind, but for me this isn't a problem. I have to complement my favourite online retailer too. This parcel was received within 24 hours of ordering, just a few days before Christmas and came with the added bonus of stacks of bubble wrap to keep the children amused. Thank you Sew and So!!

 Fine thing! Very beautiful and stylish! Will decorate an interior of any creative person. I has bought it for storage for my expensive special threads.
