 I'm slowly converting all my floss over onto these plastic bobbins from cardboard ones. The cardboard ones are fine for the short term, however I find that the plastic bobbins are so much more durable and will last me forever. The corners of the cardboard ones are very easy to fold over when winding floss on and with time this makes them more prone to going out of shape and ripping. I figure that by the time I've bought one plastic bobbin per shade, that will be cheaper than replacing cardboard bobbins a few times when they get ripped!!

 These bobbins are sturdier than the cardboard type and I have found that they are perfect for storing my threads safely without getting tangled. They also have room for you to write the thread number on so no more confusion there.

 These plastic bobbins are great for keeping your threads on and do not bend like the cardboard ones. They also come with a large ring to keep them on which is handy when working on a project for keeping all the threads together.
