The Loop Stitch is a Silk Ribbon Embroidery Stitch which is stitched without counting threads. It is easy to do and very effective in creating a three dimensional look. It works best for flower petals and particularly for leaves. You will find this stitch in Thea’s Heirloom Birth Sampler.
